Sprintex Ltd (ASX:SIX) has a flurry of news on the agenda today, including appointing a new CFO and company secretary, strong progress in key industrial projects and a shift of its headquarters.

Product news

The company has shipped its first Mest Water ammonia reduction unit to Europe, a key milestone in a A$1 million evaluation phase, which will see 19 additional units delivered over the coming weeks.

Mest Water’s mission is to address stringent European emission regulations for the agricultural sector, with Sprintex compressors playing a vital role in reducing ammonia emissions.

Energy efficiency breakthrough

Also on the product front, in a trial with China’s Qunying Corporation, Sprintex’s G15 blowers demonstrated a 69% reduction in energy consumption compared to older models, which resulted in an annual savings of around A$1.25 million per factory.

With multiple factories and numerous blower installations, Qunying’s adoption of Sprintex technology is evidence of a growing demand for energy-efficient solutions in the global textile industry.

Sprintex’s G Series blowers, currently undergoing trials in various sectors, are continuing to garner attention for their energy-saving capabilities and operational efficiencies.

As industries seek to reduce costs and improve performance, demand for Sprintex’s advanced blower technology continues to rise.

Key corporate developments

New CFO and company secretary John Bell is a seasoned chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor with more than 25 years of experience in financial and operational roles.

He has worked extensively with listed and unlisted companies, particularly in the technology sector, and has valuable expertise in mergers, acquisitions, IPOs and capital raisings.

Bell’s appointment follows the departure of Michael Van Uffelen and is effective immediately.

In other corporate news, Sprintex has relocated its registered office and principal place of business to 283 Rokeby Road, Subiaco, Western Australia.
